Lead Teacher

Ms. Abigail McKeever is a highly motivated and outgoing dancer and teacher of a number of dance forms. She is passionate about all aspects of dance and in particular Irish dancing.
Ms. Abigail started Irish dance at the age of four in Kildare, Ireland and progressed to compete successfully at Provincial, All-Ireland and World championships annually since 2007.
Abigail completed her studies at the University of Limerick in 2018 and currently holds a degree in BA in Irish Music and Dance.
Ms. Abigail has trained a number of Irish dancers from very young beginners to top level dancers aspiring to compete at the World Championship level. Her training regime incorporates appropriate physical training, mental/mindset training, musical training and artistic creativity.
Ms. Abigail looks forward to motivating, training and inspiring dancers of all ages and abilities who have a passion for dance to pursue their goals under her direction at Drake Tallahassee.



Artistic Director

Mr. Karl Drake, ADCRG will serve as Drake Tallahassee's Artistic Director and is looking forward to offering workshops and monthly classes at #DIDIT.
Mr. Karl is an Irish Dance instructor and adjudicator, certified with An Coimisiún Le Rinci Gaelacha, in Dublin Ireland. Mr. Karl serves as Director and Owner of the Drake School of Irish Dance in Atlanta, Georgia, with satellite locations in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Hawaii, Mexico and China.
As a Dance Master, with over 30 years' experience in Irish dance instruction, choreography, and adjudication, Mr. Karl leads #TeamDrake and is thrilled to have Drake Tallahassee join the Drake family.

Ms. Kelly Hendry, ADCRG will serve as Drake Tallahassee's Choreographer for our Intermediate and Champion level dancers.
During her competitive years, Ms. Kelly was a World Champion as well as the lead in Lord of the Dance. Today, she runs her own school in Newcastle, England and has taught multiple world medal holders in solos as well as world champion teams.
